Hey everybody!
Week 1/11 is done, great work everyone!

Good meeting today. Sorry it wasn't more organized, I'd originally
(optimistically) thought we could start glueup tonight.

*Decisions made*:
-Going with APM2.6 ardupilot shipped via DHL
-Mark L, Alan, Will donating up to $300 combined.
-Current cost estimate $600 (expected to inflate, as usual)
-Bulkhead balsa cuts excellently at F5000, 100% power, 100% speed, 4 passes
(wetted on top, focussed on top surface, units mm not inches)
-Comandeered one cube in the rear green roll-out shelf in the classroom.
All materials and tools are to be stored there when possible.
-*IF YOU SPEND MONEY* - you are responsible for tracking it in the Google
Doc spreadsheet Trevor linked in #financial, with your name beside it. Keep
your receipt - these are your ticket to reimbursement.
-Related: Don't change an entry with someone's name beside it - add a new
entry if needed. Any entries without names are *estimates*, and entries
with names are *actual money spent*.

*Action items* before next meeting:
-Vote for or against the currently proposed name in #name. We need 2 votes
to reach quorum.
-Continue funding/sponsor investigation: Emma and Trevor
-Prepare hull cad - Mark L
-Investigate tyvek (printing and sail cut out) from sign shop for sails -
(???)
-Considering interesting sensors - Alan, Trevor, Dan
-Doodle poll on next meeting date and time (Thursday again I hope!)- Will
-Navigator javascript simulation - Rob, Will
-Keel print failure - Will
-Keel cast prep - Mark V

The hull will be ready for lasering next week. We need to quickly get that
glued up and start planking. Planking will take a week, which will put us
at the end of week 3 - where we have to sand and carbon fiber. This leaves
only 1 week for integration - rudder, sails, servos...

The sail needs to start happening ASAP - I need someone to volunteer to
take point on this one. Mark L has offered to produce scaled drawings - but
we need someone to:

   - Find a sign shop or other alternative to make the sail (DIY?)
   - Find out what kind of file they need
   - Cost of full colour printing vs plain white tyvek. (Double sided?)
   - What we need to reinforce the sail (sail tape?)
   - Grommets and grommet tool

Lots of information available in the plans, and no one has yet stepped up -
let us know on #sail
Most of my bandwidth is going to go into autopilot - I'll be watching #hull
and happy to help, but Mark and Norm are taking point on this - Emma and
Dan please coordinate with them to assist/observe lasering, if it's going
to happen before the next meeting (probably ideal).

If you haven't - please read the plans Mark L linked in Slack if you plan
to be involved in the hull construction. It's a pretty easy read with lots
of pictures, and it will speed things along much more quickly.

Thanks everyone for the hard work!
If you feel you want more of a challenge, let me know and I will hook you
up. There is no shortage of work - I'm not the best at delegating, but I'm
trying!

Will
