Hey Eric

Yeah theres lots of good resources.

http://rcexplorer.se/projects/projects.html
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1097355

some stores that carry quadcopter frames
http://www.hoverthings.com/frame-sets.html
http://store.diydrones.com/Arducopter_3DR_B_Frame_Kit_p/kt-ac3dr-01.htm

One of the main Decisions you need to make early on is the flight
control system as these aircraft are sort of fly by wire. meaning they
naturally want to crash. inorder to compensate for all the external
unbalanced forces you need a controller board to handel the minute
corrections. Heres your main options

kk Board
Ardupilot
wiimulticopter board
open pilot board

heres a comparison of all the flight control boards.

Hopefully all this hasen't confused you. Feel free to email me with
questions. i've attached a picture of my tri copter im currently
rebuilding my quadcopter waiting on some parts.
