Dear Hacklab community,

My name is Eric Bury and I'm a project manager at Philip Beesley
Architect Inc where we're currently preparing a large interactive art
installation for a new Simons store at the West Edmonton Mall.

I'm writing because we have a need for some DMX programming to control
the dimming of a series of LED "pinspot" fixtures that illuminate
specific elements of the sculpture, and we need that program to respond
to events happening within the sculpture's interactive network
(programmed in Arduino). That being said, and with the understanding
that this might not be as straightforward as I assume, I think the
program itself would be fairly simple. Basically: When sensor X is
triggered, light Y will fade on and then fade off. This might expand a
bit depending on what's achievable, but that's the basic idea.

Our main challenge will be timing, as we are leaving for Edmonton in two
and a half weeks, but there will be a little time available after that
if needed.

Please let me know if this is something you might be interested in. I
would love to discuss this with you further.
