[Jobs] Printing Information Required

Hello,

I am involved in a startup, where we are creating comics and stories. These stories are then sold to publishers. The issue which comes here is that, the comics need to be printed on 4inch by 150 ft long rolls !. We dont have the funds to buy these fancy large format printers which are available to do this. Outsourcing is not an option because it is to expensive. What i have heard is that normal printers can be "hacked" for a lack of a better word and made to print such lengths.

So my question is Anyone have any idea if this is possible? if so who here has some experience in this regard? and if not, any other ideas to get cheap printing done for such dimensions without outsourcing or buying a ridiculously expensive printer? Cutting and stitching is not an option!
