Howdy,

Airon Group of Companies<http://www.airongroup.ca/> is looking for individuals savvy with software and electronics to add to its workforce of automation technicians.

We work on control systems that control boilers, air handlers, chillers, generators, and that kind of thing. We also do lots of energy metering.

We'd like to have more people that can work with our electricians to complete installation projects from scratch. We do work in Toronto, Barrie, Hamilton and the Niagara Region, there's a fair bit of driving with a company car.

We program controllers using various visual programming tools, add them into a supervisory controller using more visual programming tools with historization, alarming, analytics, and other frills. We also work on the user interface so our customers can control their equipment themselves. It's preferable if you aren't afraid to take out a multimeter and terminal driver to do your own troubleshooting on low voltage stuff (24 VAC, 0-10 VDC signals, 4-20 mA signals).

We make a lot of use of Tridium AX and N4 as our user interface. It's a complicated piece of software largely designed for developers. It's written in Java and is object oriented. You can write Java code to link all of the occupancy sensors in a building to the HVAC appropriate equipment if you are particularly savvy, for example.

If this sounds like a cool career for you, please reach out.

Regards,

Matt
